Hands on class during Quilt Show

For Teachers

We welcome you to participate in The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show — a joint venture of PBS Wisconsin and Nancy Zieman Productions LLC, Thursday, Sept. 5 – Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024.

The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show offers dozens of educational opportunities for attendees. As a quilt teacher, we invite you to submit proposals for possible stage demonstrations, lectures, hands-on or Sit & Sew workshops to be offered during the three-day event. Proposal forms are due by Jan. 31, 2024.

Teacher Selection

The Great Wisconsin Quilt show selection team will review all proposals. Each proposal will be given the most careful consideration, but we cannot guarantee each proposal a time slot.

Teacher Fees

The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show will pay teachers $199 for each one-hour lecture taught or $299 for each three-hour workshop taught.

Assistants

The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show will provide one assistant per classroom to help with setup and assist during the class.

Audio Visual Equipment

Each lecture room will be equipped with a microphone, a projector and screen, two demonstration tables and electrical outlets. Teachers must provide their own laptop and/or quilt hanging equipment if needed.

Selling of Books/Supplies in the Classrooms

The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show encourages each teacher to work in cooperation with a booth vendor to sell products.
